Bus Stop Garden Bed
The bus stop at the corner of Franklin and Artopee was beautifully renovated, but the adjacent planting bed remained largely empty. Partnering with a local Girl Scout troop, the Nyack Pollinator Pathway transformed the space into a thriving native garden filled with pollinator-friendly flowers and grasses.
Today, the garden provides habitat for pollinators while creating a more welcoming experience for residents and visitors waiting nearby. It demonstrates how even small spaces can play an important role in a connected network of habitat.
