Nyack Fresh Market

In fall 2024, the Nyack Pollinator Pathway transformed an underutilized planting bed beside Nyack Fresh Market into a vibrant native pollinator garden. The project was made possible through the support of the Village of Nyack Department of Public Works, which prepared and improved the site, and the dedicated volunteers who helped bring the garden to life.

Located along a busy pedestrian corridor, the garden provides valuable habitat for pollinators while adding beauty, color, and seasonal interest to a space visited by residents every day. It demonstrates how even small, overlooked areas can become meaningful ecological and community assets.
