Memorial Park Splash Pad Pollinator Garden

In spring 2025, the Nyack Pollinator Pathway transformed a large planting bed beside the Memorial Park Splash Pad into a thriving native pollinator garden. Existing trees and shrubs were thoughtfully relocated, making way for a sweeping planting of native perennials designed to support pollinators and other wildlife.

Situated next to one of Nyack’s busiest gathering places, the garden brings habitat, biodiversity, and seasonal beauty to a space enjoyed by families throughout the summer. It also serves as a living example of how native plants can transform everyday landscapes into valuable ecological resources.
