Nyack Plaza Apartments

In 2022, the Nyack Pollinator Pathway partnered with residents and management of Nyack Plaza Apartments to design a series of native pollinator gardens throughout the property. With generous support from Orange & Rockland and the Robert Martin Company, the first installations were completed in spring 2023, transforming underutilized spaces into vibrant habitat for pollinators and other wildlife.

The project included gardens in both sunny and shaded locations, allowing for a diverse mix of native plants adapted to a variety of growing conditions. These gardens provide seasonal color, ecological value, and opportunities for residents to experience the benefits of native landscaping close to home.

Today, Nyack Plaza serves as an important stop along the Pollinator Pathway, demonstrating how multifamily residential communities can play a meaningful role in supporting biodiversity and creating healthier, more connected landscapes.
